Dear Experts,
i have a question regarding inventory valuation.
My company would like to valuate a material stock based on different valuation approaches such like IFRS or local GAAP.
We are using the material ledger and are testing business function FIN_CO_COGM (parallel valuation of manufacturing costs), however we are unsure if this solution actually helps us to valuate the material stock differently. We do already know of split valuation, but i don´t think this is the right solution, beside there are too many reservations among my fellow sap consultants.
Question:
Does anyone know if it is possible to have material valuated two times (or more) by using different valuation (resulting in having two S-prices) based on the valuation you choosed to look at material master data. (Same solution like having two or more currencies with Material Ledger and you just click another tab)?
