How to apply notes in SAP DUAL Stack?

Hi experts,

I have a server SAP PI dual stack 7.40 version. I have a component DI_CLIENTS7.40 version 2 SP and 0 Patch. I found https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1854826 note for my component.

As you can see in note I can apply Patch 1 in this note for my component.

But when I tried to apply through SNOTE transaction I got a message:

"Cannot be implemented"

1. So what did I do wrong?

2. Can I implement Java Stack notes through SNOTE transaction?
