Hi,

we patched our SAP GUI from 7.3 to 7.40 PL 3. After the Patch we have some Problems with BexAnalyser and SSO.

Here our problem report:

Problem Group

RFC_ERROR_COMMUNICATION

Message

SAP_CMINIT3 : rc=20 > Connect to SAP gateway failed

Summarized the situation:

SAPGUI 7.40 Patchlevel 7 or 5 or 3, usinf SAPUILandscape.xml

SSO Client 2.0 support Package 6 Patch Level 1

BEX-Analyzer 7.40 1 Patch Level 4

Sapgui without SSO works.

Sapgui with SSO works.

BEX without SSO works.

BEX with SSO does not work. With our Network specialist we figured out, that in this constalation BEX dose not try to get SSO certificate at all. BEX tries to establish the comunication directly to SAP System.

This message above comes allways, it doesn't metter if you are signed to SSO-Client or not and this message ist allways the same!

We also asked by SAP, but the solution we got didnt help. We got new wdtlog.ocx files to register, but unfortunately without any success.

We have this problem since we made upgrade to GUI 7.40 and migrated our SAPLogon.ini to SAPUILandscape.xml.

With SAPGui 7.30 everything worked properly.

Best Regards

Dijana Heinzemann
