How do you determine the available stock in a bin location

Hi Experts,

I need your help.

I have written a bespoke pick note creation routine. Basically to automate it and to give more flexibility with auto allocating stock from bin locations.

We are using bin locations but not Serial or Batch numbers.I am able to create the pick notes without any problems but how do Idetermine what the available stock is in a bin location.

OIBQ holds the OnHandQty but how do you calculate the committed stoc?. Do I total total the OnHandQty and RelQtty in PKL2 that have a corresponding status of either 'R' or 'Y' in PKL1  and subtract that figure from the OnHandQty?

II would love to know how the stock figures are calculated in the "Bin Locartion Allocation - Issue" Program (Please see attached screenshot but here is just a snippet:-

In Bin TL1-B-59-B there are physically 6 in there but all were committed. he quantities in the PKL2 records totalled 4 so where were the other 2 committed from.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
