I have a maintenance plan for an equipment which has a counter type measuring point assigned to it. In the plan, I have maintained cycle/unit as 20 each.
Now, the counter value is gradually getting updated for various reasons.
The strange thing is that until the counter value was 15, if I tried to schedule the plan, then the status used to be "new start. hold". However, the moment counter got updated to 16, on trying to schedule the plan, the status got updated to "new start. save to call". On saving PM notification is getting generated automatically.
Why is this happening? It should generate PM order when the counter reached 20 not >= 16. After all,16 is only 80% of 20.
I want the PM element to get generated only when the counter value reaches the specified cycle/unit in the plan.
My call horizon is 100% and scheduled days is 0. Cycle modification factor is 1.0. [maintenance scheduling parameters]
Please advise. It is an urgent issue for me.
